Cycles, stacks & terminology

This page summarizes how PepRally groups plans and peptides: what a cycle is, how stacks fit inside it, and the supporting words we use for timing and amounts. For research record-keeping only; not medical guidance.

Relationship map

At the highest level, planning revolves around a single container: the cycle. Optional programs group multiple cycles over time; inside each cycle, one or more stacks group peptides you use together.

Program (optional)

Multiple cycles over time — useful when you think in seasons or phases, not a single block.

Cycle

Your full plan for a defined period: what you are tracking, how much, when, and how long. In product terms, this merges what might otherwise be called a protocol and the lived schedule into one concept.

Stack(s)

Grouped peptides used together for a purpose (for example cognitive vs sleep) or a time window (AM vs PM). A cycle can have one stack or several.

Cycle = protocol (merged). Instead of juggling two separate ideas, think of the cycle as the place where plan and execution live together.

Ways to structure stacks

Both patterns are valid; pick what keeps your own records clear.

By purpose

  • Sleep stack (e.g. DSIP)
  • Cognitive stack (e.g. Semax + Selank)
  • Recovery stack

By timing

  • Morning (AM) stack
  • Evening (PM) stack

Supporting terms

These refine a cycle; keep them lightweight in your own notes.

Dose
Amount per administration (for example micrograms).
Frequency
How often — daily, twice daily, etc.
Duration
Total length of the cycle (for example several weeks).
Washout
Time off between cycles.
Pulsing
Intentional breaks within a cycle (for example several days on, several off).

One-line definitions

  • Cycle — the full plan over time.
  • Stack — the peptides grouped together inside that plan.
  • Blend — a single vial containing multiple peptides combined at specific milligram amounts. Blends are scheduled and dosed just like individual peptides.

Example

“I'm running a six-week cycle: AM cognitive stack (Semax + Selank), PM sleep stack (DSIP), daily dosing, then two weeks off.”
  • Cycle — six weeks plus washout.
  • Stacks — AM and PM groupings.
  • Structure — daily use with time off between cycles.

Key takeaway

  • Think in cycles (the plan).
  • Organize with stacks (the groupings).
  • Keep dose, frequency, duration, washout, and pulsing as simple supporting details.
